ABOUT TASK FORCE 91
Task Force 91, founded in 2011, is a U.S. Marine Corps–inspired mil-sim unit focused on infantry-centric gameplay. Our operations emphasise squad and platoon-level tactics, teamwork, and disciplined communication, with all supporting elements built around enabling the rifleman. We balance realism with enjoyment, prioritising competence, cohesion, and immersion over excessive roleplay. Backed by years of milsim experience, Task Force 91 delivers challenging, grounded operations.

UNIT HISTORY
Formed by veterans of the Arma milsim scene, Task Force 91 was built to fill the gap between casual play and rigid realism — a home for players who want structure, brotherhood, and meaningful operations. From our first fire team to full company-level deployments, our history is written by every Marine who has answered the call.
Today we field organized platoons across regular operations, formal training pipelines, and a dedicated command staff.

What does the unit focus on?
Tactical gameplay — typically PVE — at the platoon level, with plans to expand to a company-sized element. We focus on infantry-oriented gameplay with light or mechanized vehicles in support. Realism is the goal, but we know ultimate realism isn’t fun for the average player, so we aim to balance the two.
How is the unit set up?
Our unit is run by veterans. We play with a military mindset but don’t require military customs and courtesies in our community — no-one wants to call a 17 year old “sir” on the internet. Rank exists to facilitate chain of command and control in game, and as a reward for members taking on extra duties to help the unit run.
When do operations occur?
While the day may shift to help more people attend, we aim to run our games on Saturdays around 2:30 PM EST, and play other games casually throughout the week.
What games do you play?
Games like ARMA, Squad, Ready or Not, Hell Let Loose, and many other tactical shooters, as a team. Our members have a wide array of favourites they play through the week, making it a great community to hang out and game with.
